About the Committee

“Respect and Safety are the Foundations of Education.”

The Internal Compliance Committee (ICC) at Yuvaguru College of Arts and Science has been constituted in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Government of India to prevent and address any form of sexual harassment, discrimination, or misconduct within the campus.

The committee ensures that all students, faculty, and staff enjoy a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment where dignity and equality are upheld.

Objectives

  • To create and maintain a safe and secure campus environment for all.
  • To prevent and address any act of sexual harassment or gender-based discrimination.
  • To spread awareness and conduct sensitization programs on gender equality.
  • To ensure fair, prompt, and confidential inquiry into complaints.
  • To promote mutual respect and integrity within the college community.

Functions of the ICC

  • Receive and redress complaints on sexual harassment or discrimination.
  • Conduct inquiries through a transparent and confidential process.
  • Organize awareness campaigns, workshops, and training for students and staff.
  • Recommend disciplinary action if allegations are substantiated.
  • Maintain a record of cases and submit annual reports to the principal.
